Our mission
We believe that when a local economy can transact directly, new opportunities open up for the people inside it — merchants who could never qualify for card processing, families priced out of banking, and neighbors who simply want to earn and spend directly with each other.
Peer-to-Peer Aid is a volunteer-run community initiative funded by donations. We sit down with families, neighbors and small merchants and teach them how to send and receive support directly, using open-source peer-to-peer money — read more about the rails we use on our compass page.
